Interstate 71 Lane Closures Scheduled
Warren County (Monday,
May 13, 2019) - Bridge work requires various lane closures on north
and south Interstate 71 at Wilmington Road, Olive Branch Road, Clarksville Road
and Harveysburg Road beginning Monday, April 29.
Lane closures will be
in effect each weeknight, Monday through Saturday mornings, from 6 p.m. until 9
a.m., until approximately June 30, 2019. Additional lane closures will be in effect each
weekend from 4 p.m. until 10 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
