Lane Closure Scheduled for Gas Main Relocation
Hamilton County (Friday, February 17, 2012) – Gas main relocation work will require closing the right lane of northbound U.S. 42 from Cottingham Drive to just south of Fields Ertel Road. The lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, the weeks of Feb. 20, Feb. 27 and March 5. One lane of traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
