US 42 resurfacing work to start

U.S. 42 (Reading Road) resurfacing requires lane closures
 
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013) – Resurfacing work on U.S. 42 from Dorchester Avenue to State Route 4/Paddock Road will require various lane closures.
 
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, pavement work will require lane closures on U.S. 42 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Dorchester Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive.  One lane in each direction will be maintained with flagging operations.
 
On U.S. 42 between Martin Luther King Drive and State Route 4/Paddock Road, work is allowed in the right lane during rush hour provided two inbound lanes and one outbound lane are maintained from 6 to 9 a.m. and two outbound lanes and one inbound lane are maintained from 4 to 6 p.m.
 
These lane closures will be in place each week until project completion, which is set for late fall.
 
Message boards, arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
