Various lane closures scheduled for overhead sign work

Hamilton County (Wednesday, May 4, 2016) – Overhead sign work requires the following lane restrictions on Interstate 471 beginning tonight.

Various moving lane closures in both directions of I-471 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Once a sign is removed and/or erected, the lane closure location will change. Lane closures will go in effect two hours after completion of any Cincinnati Red’s game.

Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers and all work is weather dependent.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
