Warren County Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures this week
Warren County (Monday, March 14, 2016) – Bridge work requires the following lane and short-term full closures on Interstate 71 at the Socialville-Fosters Road bridge and I-71 at the Jeremiah Morrow bridge this week and next week.
Single lane closures on north and southbound I-71 at Socialville-Fosters Road bridge beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 16, followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopening at 7 a.m. the following day.
Also, various short-term (15 minute) full closures on northbound I-71 at the Jeremiah Morrow bridge beginning at 11 p.m. Monday, March 21 through 5 a.m. the following day.
In addition, various short-term (15 minute) full closures on north and southbound I-71 at Socialville-Fosters Road bridge from 12:01 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 22.
Law enforcement officers will maintain traffic and all work depends on weather.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
