Work requires full and lane closures on U.S. 50 next week
Hamilton County (Thursday, March 30, 2017) – Work requires the following full and lane closures on U.S. 50 next week.
Wednesday, April 5: Full closure of eastbound U.S. 50 between Linn Street/Freeman Avenue and approximately Evans Street from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Traffic will be detoured north on State Avenue to east of West 8th Street to south on Freeman Avenue, back to U.S. 50.
In addition, a single right lane closure on eastbound U.S. 50 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and again from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane and closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
