Culvert work requires SR 73 closure

Butler County (Monday, March 21, 2016) – Culvert replacement requires closing State Route 73 west of U.S. 127.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, March 28, SR 73 will be closed between U.S. 127 and SR 177 until approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 1. Westbound SR 73 traffic will be detoured north on U.S. 127 to west on Somerville Road to south on SR 177; eastbound SR 73 traffic will use the reverse detour.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
