The Finance Department manages payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budget transfers, inventory control, and purchasing.  Finance also is responsible for monitoring the District 8 operating budget.

The Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining all District 8 buildings and grounds in addition to interstate rest areas. Facilities oversees new building construction and assures compliance with EPA standards.

Information Technology maintains the district's computers and networking system for the headquarters, county garages, outposts, travel information centers, and numerous contruction project sites.  IT maintains the district's telephone operations.

Training provides a valuable service to all department employees.  Training provided includes the Employee Personal Development Program (EPDP), ODOT Tuition Reimbursement Program, Union Education Trust Program (UET) and in house training.
