District 8 Multi-Year Work Plan
ODOT District 8’s Multi-Year Work Plan (MYWP) establishes our operations activities for fiscal years 2021-2022 (July 1, 2020-June 30, 2022) and our capital investments for fiscal years 2021-2026.
For each year of the work plan, we are planning to invest an average of
$54.75 million
on pavement,
$31.48 million
on bridges,
$2 million
on culverts, and
$24.7 million
on other items (guardrail, lighting, construction inspection, change orders, etc.). This total average investment of about
$112.4 million
per year helps ensure that we will continue to take care of Ohio’s largest man-made asset, our transportation system.
The MYWP is used to direct the planning and programming of projects that will address the key assets we maintain in District 8: pavement, bridges, and culverts, along with other assets, such as traffic signals, retaining walls, pavement markings, and much more. As we evaluate projects, we also look at projects that are planned using other funding sources such as Safety, TSMO, Major New and Local Programs. To provide more information about the MYWP, we have created a one-page
summary
that provides a brief explanation of the work plan and an
overview
that outlines the district's work plan process, the tools that are used to develop it, and the investments that are being made in the region's transportation assets.

MYWP Web Mapping
In addition to our MYWP overview and summary available here, we have created the web-based
Combined Work Plan Map
, and a
Construction Projects
map of all active and pending projects in District 8. By filtering the map with pre-loaded layers for local and state (ODOT) paving, bridge and safety projects, this tool enables users to view the capital and operations projects that we have scheduled in our current work plan. Please visit the Combined Work Plan Map by clicking the image or link below.
