Seven Phase Project: I-75 lane addition, resurfacing and interchange work from State Route 126/Ronald Regan Cross County Highway to just south of I-275. (Approximately 8 miles).
  • Begins: Spring 2017 – Estimated completion: To be determined.
  • Cost: $500 million to $600 million.

I-75 widening, resurfacing and interchange construction from just south of Shepard Lane to just north of Glendale-Milford Road (Approximately 1.9 miles).

  • Phase 1: I-75 widening and resurfacing between Shepherd Lane and Glendale-Milford Rd. Work includes the redesign of the Shepherd Ln. interchange, removal of the collector distributor system, and improvements to the Glendale-Milford interchange.
  • Phase 2: Construct local roadway connection between Shepherd and Glendale-Milford thru GE (Neumann Way).

(I-75, Galbraith Road)

I-75 widening and resurfacing from I-75 bridge over Mill creek (just south of the SR 126/Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway exit) to SR 126/Ronald Regan Cross County Highway/Galbraith Rd. (Approximately 0.5 mile).

  • Add fourth lane to I-75 in each direction and auxiliary lanes from the I-75 bridge over Mill Creek to SR 126.
  • Reconstruct left hand exit from northbound I-75 to Galbraith Rd. as a right hand exit
  • Improve ramps from: eastbound SR 126/Ronald Regan Cross County Highway to southbound I-75; Galbraith Rd. to southbound I-75; and northbound I-75 to eastbound/westbound SR 126/Ronald Regan Cross County Highway.

(I-75, Norfolk Southern Railroad Bridge)

  • Norfolk Southern railroad bridge replacement prior to widening I-75.

(I-75, southbound Galbraith/Shepard)

I-75 southbound widening and resurfacing from Galbraith Rd. to Shepherd Ln. (Approximately 1.5 miles).

  • Add fourth lane and auxiliary lane from Shepherd Ln. entrance to Galbraith Rd. exit
  • Construct on and off ramps for Galbraith Rd./Anthony Wayne and southbound I-75 to westbound SR 126/Ronald Regan Cross County Highway ramp.

(I-75, northbound Galbraith/Shepard)

I-75 widening and resurfacing from Galbraith Road to Shepherd Lane (Approximately 2.3 miles).

  •  Add fourth lane and auxiliary lane for northbound I-75 between Galbraith Rd. and Shepherd Ln. and westbound SR 126 to northbound I-75 ramp.

I-75 widening and resurfacing from Glendale-Milford Road to the Kemper Rd. overpass (approximately 2 miles).

  • Widen for a fourth lane on I-75 in both directions and auxiliary lanes from Sharon Rd. to Glendale Milford Rd. and from Sharon Rd. to I-275.
  • Improve capacity at the Sharon Rd. interchange and the intersection of Sharon Rd. and Chester Rd. by adding turn lanes.
