Adams-770 Now Open; Additional Work Slated Next Week
Chillicothe - With state Route 770 now open following a set of culvert replacement projects today, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility have suspended their operations until next week.
On Monday, March 16, crews will close the route between state Route 73 and Township Road 206 (Chambers Road) to replace two separate pipes located near the 10.0-mile marker. Throughout the month of March, crews are replacing 20 culverts that are situated on Adams-770 in preparation for a resurfacing project this summer.
Weather permitting, the closure will be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while the route is closed, traffic will be detoured via state routes 73, 41, 32 and 247.
