Brown-123 Reopens To Traffic
Chillicothe (Thursday, July 21, 2011) – Construction for a bridge replacement project on state Route 123 in Brown County is nearing completion, and the route is now open to traffic.
Crews from Coopers Excavating have replaced a bridge located at the 2.22-mile marker, between County Road 46 (Glady Road) and Township Road 103 (Schefsky Road). With only minor finishing work to be completed, there should be little to no impact to traffic throughout the remainder of construction.
Coopers Excavating was awarded a contract in the amount of $262,851.45 to replace the bridge with a new superstructure, and the scheduled completion date for all work is August 31.
