Brown-505 Culvert Project Open For Comment Period
BRO-505-6.49 (PID: 86595) – It is proposed to rehabilitate the structure on S.R. 505 over Middle Branch Bullskin Creek in Lewis Township, just south of the intersection with S.R. 756. Along with lining the culvert, the project will include the addition of a full-height headwall at the inlet and a half-height headwall at the outlet.
The project will require approximately 0.364 acres of permanent right of way, located along the stream channel, pasture and agricultural fields; however, no homes or businesses will be removed as a result. In addition, no trees with habitat for the federally endangered Indiana bat and federally threatened northern long-eared bat will be removed for the project.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by March 3, 2016, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
