Brown-52 Now Open To One Lane
Chillicothe (Tuesday, May 3, 2011 - 9:05 a.m.) – U.S. Route 52 in Brown County is now open to one lane near between Aberdeen and Ripley following its early-morning closure due to a landslide.
U.S. 52 is also reduced to one lane between Aberdeen and the Adams County line due to mudslide in this area. Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation will continue working today to clear the route at both locations. Although it is open to traffic, motorists are reminded to exercise additional caution in the work area.
The following closures and restrictions are also in place this morning:
• S.R. 41 in Adams County is CLOSED between the Brown County line and S.R. 136 at Bentonville.
• S.R. 220 in Pike County is RESTRICTED at River Road.
• S.R. 141 in Lawrence County is REDUCED to ONE LANE just north of Bald Knob-Dog Fork Road due to a slip; traffic is being maintained with temporary signals.
