Comment Period Available For Adams-41 Project
ADA-41-2.73/4.29 (PID: 87220) – It is proposed to replace two structures on state Route 41 in Sprigg Township of Adams County. The first structure, located at the 2.73-mile marker near Ripley Pike, is a twin corrugated metal arch on concrete foundation walls, and it will be replaced with a 20’ x 6’ reinforced concrete box culvert on a new alignment. The second structure is situated over Richie Run at the 4.29-mile marker, between Roush Hill and Stanfield roads, and the corrugated metal arch will be replaced with a precast, reinforced concrete box culvert on the same alignment.
The section of the project located at the 2.73-mile marker will require approximately 0.2612 acres of permanent right of way and 0.0746 acres of temporary right of way, while the project located at the 4.29-mile marker will require approximately 0.1221 acres of permanent right of way and 0.1116 acres of temporary right of way. Four trees that have habitat for the federally endangered Indiana Bat and a former country store will be removed as part of the project.
Additional information regarding the proposed project, including an agency breakdown, description, maps and plans sheets, is available online at http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D09/Pages/Public-Involvement-Process.aspx.
