Comment Period Available For Jackson-93 Culvert Rehab


Chillicothe (Friday, August 1, 2014) As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed project in Jackson County.

Jackson County – JAC-93-0.15 (PID: 86588) The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the existing culvert at the 0.15-mile marker on state Route 93, immediately north of the Jackson-Lawrence County line, in Jefferson Township. The existing culvert is a corrugated metal pipe, and rehabilitation includes the addition of a spray applied structural liner and replacement of the existing half-height headwalls. No new right of way will be needed for the project, and no homes or businesses will be removed.
