Comment Period Available For Ross-207 Culvert Replacement
ROS-207-4.73 (PID: 97231) – It is proposed to replace the structure on state Route 207 that is situated between Township Road 124 (Rinkliff Road) and County Road 111 (Stone Road) and over a tributary to Dry Run. The existing culvert is a 30-inch corrugated metal pipe, and it will be replaced with a 42-inch conduit and full height wing walls.
The project will require approximately 1.103 acres of permanent right of way, which is located within an agricultural, forested slope and along the stream channel. No homes or businesses will be removed by the project; however, seven trees will be removed for the project that have habitat for the federally endangered Indiana Bat.
Additional information regarding the proposed project, including an agency breakdown, description, maps and plans sheets, is available online at http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D09/Pages/Public-Involvement-Process.aspx. Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by December 23, 2014, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
