Comment Period Available For Ross County Bridge Project
Chillicothe (Monday, January 13, 2014) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed project in Ross County.
Ross County – ROS-138-6.29 (PID: 95341) The proposed project is the replacement of the existing structure at the 6.29-mile marker on state Route 138, between County Road 55 (Lyndon Road) and C.R. 92 (Ragged Ridge Road) in Buckskin Township. Some small trees and bushes will be removed as part of the project; however, none of the trees have habitat for Indiana Bat. The project will require approximately 0.106 acres of permanent right of way which is located in a pasture field and scrub area; however, no homes or businesses will be removed by the project.
