Period Open For Adams-348 Bridge Replacement
Chillicothe (Thursday, July 20, 2017) – As
part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning &
Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public
input for a bridge replacement project in Adams County.
ADA-348-1.53 (PID: 102446) –
It is proposed to replace the structure located at the 1.53-mile marker on state
Route 348, between S.R. 125 and T.R. 80089 (Holcomb Road) in Tiffin Township.
The existing corrugated metal pipe arch will be replaced with a 12x10-foot
precast, concrete box culvert with full-height headwalls and wingwalls.
No new or additional right of way will be required for the
project, and no homes or businesses will be removed as a result. However, a
45-day closure of the route will be required for construction
Written comments should be submitted by August 3, 2017, or the
deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
