Comment Period Open For Adams-41, 247 Projects
ADA-41-32.00 (PID: 97590) – The proposed project is to correct landslide damage on S.R. 41, approximately two miles south of the Highland County line, by constructing a drilled shaft retaining wall. The project will require approximately 0.745 acres of permanent right of way; however, no homes or businesses will be removed. One tree which has habitat for the federally endangered Indiana Bat will be removed for the project. The project is currently expected to be awarded in the spring of 2017, and a temporary road closure may be necessary to complete construction.
ADA-247-8.82 (PID: 88718) – The proposed project is a rehabilitation of the structure over a tributary of Lick Fork on S.R. 247 in Tiffin Township. The existing bridge, which is situated approximately one mile north of West Union, is a corrugated metal pipe arch, and construction will include lining the existing culvert and replacing guardrail. The project will not require and additional right of way, and no homes or businesses will be removed by the project. The project is currently expected to be awarded in the spring of 2016, and a temporary road closure may be necessary to complete construction.
