Comment Period Open For Adams County Slide Repair Project
Chillicothe (Monday, December 12, 2016) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on a slide repair project in Adams County.
ADA-247-7.76 (PID: 102040) – It is proposed to correct landslide damage on S.R. 247 in the village of West Union with a drilled shaft retaining wall and pavement and guardrail repair. The project site is located between Sparks and Jane streets, near the northern corporation limit, and it will require 0.413 acres of permanent right of way. No homes or businesses will be removed as a result of this project.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by December 26, 2017, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
