ODOT Seeking Comment For Proposed Project
Chillicothe (Friday, April 6, 2012) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed project.
Brown County – BRO-763-11.50/11.60 (PID: 84965) – The proposed project is to replace two bridges over a tributary to West Fork Eagle Creek on state Route 763 in Byrd Township. Both existing structures are single-span, timber beam bridges on reinforced concrete and stone substructures. They will be replaced with a pre-cast reinforced three-sided culvert. No new right of way will be needed for the project, and no homes or businesses will be removed by the project.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by April 18, 2012, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
