Chillicothe (Tuesday, April 25, 2017) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input a bridge replacement project in Brown County.
BRO-CR42A-0.27 (PID: 78609) – It is proposed to replace the structure located on County Road 42A (Skiffsville Road) at the 0.27-mile marker, just east of the Brown-Clermont County line and adjacent to the intersection with T.R. 291/289 (Vernon Hill/Bullskin Road) in Lewis Township. The existing structure is a single-span, pony truss, and it will be replaced with a pre-stressed concrete box beam.
The project will require approximately 0.307 acres of permanent and 0.075 acres of temporary right of way; however, no homes or businesses will be removed as a result. A road closure may be necessary to complete all or portions of the project.
