Comment Period Open For Brown County Projects
BRO-32-0.10 (PID: 100874) – It is proposed to repair the structure located at the 0.10-mile marker on state Route 32, immediately east of the Brown-Clermont County line in Sterling Township. The roadway and existing structure were damaged during a flooding event on August 17, 2016, and as this was deemed as an Emergency Type-A, no plans will be developed for the project.
BRO-52-10.15 (PID: 97591) - It is proposed to correct landslide damage to a section of U.S. 52 in Brown County. The project site is located between T.R. 255 (Pisgah Hill Road) and T.R. 596 (Cornick Run Road) in Union Township, and construction includes a drilled shaft retaining wall with minor pavement and guardrail repairs. Approximately 0.072 acres of permanent right of way will be required for the project; however, no home or businesses will be removed as a result. The project is currently expected to be awarded in the summer of 2017.
