ODOT Seeking Comment For Proposed Projects
Chillicothe (Friday, February 17, 2012) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed projects.
Pike County – PIK-772-10.08 – The proposed project is culvert replacement project just south of S.R. 32 in Sunfish Township. The project includes the replacement of a 48” X 32’ metal pipe that is situated over a tributary to Bull Run. No new right of way will be needed, and no homes or businesses will be removed by the project. The project will be constructed by ODOT county forces with state funding.
Ross County – ROS-41-12.48 – The proposed project is culvert replacement project near C.R. 54 (Lower Twin Road) in Buckskin Township. The project includes the replacement of a 36” metal pipe that is situated over a tributary of Buckskin Creek. No new right of way will be needed, and no homes or businesses will be removed by the project. The project will be constructed by ODOT county forces with state funding.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by March 1, 2012, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
