Comment Period Open For Jackson-327 Slip Project
Chillicothe (Friday, April 19, 2013) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed project in Jackson County.
Jackson County – JAC-327-19.50 (PID: 89400) – The proposed project is to stabilize a rock slope area at the 19.50-mile marker on state Route 327 in Jackson County with the construction of benches on the existing slope. The project site is located near Township Road 207 (Woodrow Hale Road) in Jackson Township. Approximately 0.62 acres of permanent right of way will be needed; however, no homes, businesses or structures will be removed.
