Period Open For Ross-28 Bridge Replacement
Chillicothe (Friday, June 16, 2017) – As part
of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning &
Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public
input for a bridge replacement project in Ross County.
ROS-28-7.97 (PID: 104064) – It is
proposed to replace the structure located at the 7.97-mile marker on state
Route 28 in Concord Township. The structure is located between T.R. 89 (Halley
Road) and C.R. 93 (Porter Hollow Road), and the existing corrugated metal
pipe will be replaced with a 108-inch Type A conduit.
No new or additional right of way will be required for the
project, and no homes or businesses will be removed as a result. However, a closure
of the route may be necessary to complete all or portions of the project.
Written comments should be submitted by June 30, 2017, or the
deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
