Chillicothe (Tuesday, January 17, 2017) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on a culvert rehabilitation in Scioto County.
SCI-140-1.65 (PID: 102145) – It is proposed to rehabilitate the existing corrugated metal arch structure over a tributary of Oven Lick Run on S.R. 140 with a pipe liner, constructing a headwall at the inlet and rock channel protection at the outlet of the structure. The project site is located at the 1.65-mile marker, between T.R. 248 (Highland Bend Road) and T.R. 328 (Lindeman Road) in Porter Township.
No new right of way will be required, and no homes or businesses will be removed as a result of this project. A contract is anticipated to be awarded in the spring of 2018, and closure of the roadway may be necessary to complete the project.
