Construction Gets Started On Various Adams County Routes
Restrictions To Be In Effect On S.R. 32
August 18, 2014) – Construction gets under
way this week on state and county roadways in Adams County, including culvert
work on state routes 32 and 41.
from BUDS, Inc. will reduce S.R. 32 to one lane in each direction at the
9.92-mile marker for a culvert replacement project. The project site is
situated between County Road 10 (Unity Road) and Township Road 2004 (Barry
McFarland Drive), and throughout the construction, traffic will be maintained
in a minimum of one, 10-foot lane in each direction.
In addition to the culvert replacement, BUDS, Inc. will
undertake a culvert liner project on S.R. 41, installing a liner through an
existing culvert that is situated approximately one mile east of the
Adams-Brown County line. Although the impact to motorists should be minimal,
traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed when crews are at work.
BUDS, Inc. was awarded separate contracts for $642,256 and
$196,069, respectively, and both projects are scheduled to be completed in

Adams County with a guardrail repair and replacement project.
Crews from Lake Erie Construction will be repairing guardrail at
various locations on C.R. 3D (Brown Hill Road), C.R. 14A (Tranquility Pike),
C.R. 5C (Compton Hill Road), C.R. 20C (Roush Hill Road) and C.R. 3E/F (Island
Traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers and temporary
signals when crews are at work, and the project is scheduled to be completed
by late fall.
