Paving Project Set To Begin On Lawrence-141
Chillicothe (Thursday, September 26, 2013) – Although the 2013 construction season will be wrapping up soon, a new project is set to begin in Lawrence County early next week.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will impart lane restrictions on state Route 141, reducing the route to one lane between Kitts Hill and Wilgus for a resurfacing project.
The nearly eight mile work zone extends from S.R. 217 to S.R. 775, and the lane restrictions are scheduled to go into effect on Monday, September 30. Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained by flaggers when crews are at work.
The Shelly Company, of Thornville, Ohio was awarded a contract for approximately $1.23 million to resurface the route, and all work is scheduled to be completed by late November.
