Bridge Replacement Project Set To Begin On S.R. 125
Chillicothe (Tuesday, February 25, 2014) – Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are set to begin a bridge replacement project on state Route 125 in Adams County.
On Monday, March 17, crews from DGM Incorporated will close S.R. 125 at the 19.68-mile marker. Situated over Mill Creek, the bridge is located between County Road 125B (Hazelbaker Road) and Township Road 312 (Riley Hollow Road), east of the community of Lynx.
The route will be closed for up to 120 days throughout construction, and traffic will be detoured by way of S.R. 348 and C.R. 18 (Blue Creek Road).
DGM, Inc., of Beaver, Ohio was awarded a contract in the amount of approximately $1.08 million to replace the bridge, and all work is anticipated to be completed by mid to late-summer.
