County Crews Schedule Culvert Replacement On Adams-125
Route To Be Closed Next Week
Chillicothe (Wednesday, May 20, 2015) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility are scheduled to undertake a culvert replacement project on state Route 125 next week, requiring a three-day closure of the route.
On Wednesday, May 27, crews will close S.R. 125 adjacent to County Road 21 (Old Cincinnati Road) and Township Road 80150 (Red Bud Road) to replace a deteriorated pipe at the 3.55-mile marker. The project site is situated approximately one mile west of the route’s junction with S.R. 136.
The closure is scheduled to go into effect at 8 a.m. Wednesday and continue until approximately 4 p.m. Friday, May 29, or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 136, S.R. 32, U.S. 62 and S.R. 125 in Brown County.
