Chillicothe (Thursday, June 12, 2014) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility are scheduled to undertake a one-day culvert replacement project on state Route 41 next week.

On Tuesday, June 17, crews will close S.R. 41 between County Road 6 (Fawcett Road) and Township Road 91 (Murphin Ridge Road) to replace a deteriorated pipe at the 20.20-mile marker. The project site is situated approximately three miles south of the route’s junction with S.R. 781.

The closure is scheduled to go into effect at 8 a.m. and continue until approximately 8 p.m., or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 32 and S.R. 247 at West Union.
