County Crews Set For Culvert Replacement
Pike-220 scheduled for weeklong closure
Chillicothe (Tuesday, June 2, 2015) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Pike County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement project on state Route 220 later this month, requiring a weeklong closure of the route.
On Monday, June 15, maintenance crews will close Ohio-220 at the 5.20-mile marker to replace a deteriorated culvert that is situated between Township Road 456 (Lake Road) and S.R. 552. The
closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. on the 15th and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, June 19, or until all work is completed.
While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 552, S.R. 104 and S.R. 551.
