To Replace Culvert On Pike-335
Chillicothe (Tuesday, August 12, 2014) – A
culvert replacement project will take place next week on state Route 335 in
Pike County, requiring a weeklong closure of the route.
On Monday, August 18, crews
from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Pike County Highway Maintenance
Facility will close S.R. 335 at the 11.34-mile marker in order to replace a
culvert that is located between Township Road 524 (Swift Creek Road) and T.R.
528 (Dutch Hollow Road), approximately 3.5 miles north of Beaver.
The closure is scheduled
to go into effect at 8 a.m. Monday and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, August
22, or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will
be detoured via S.R. 32 and U.S. 23.
