Culvert Installation Slated On Morris Lane
Route to be closed two days next week
Chillicothe (Monday, June 20, 2016) – A culvert installation on County Road 54 (Morris Lane - Blue Run Road) has been scheduled to take place next week, forcing a temporary closure of the route.
Morris Lane will be closed between C.R. 184 (Flatwood-Fallen Timber Road) and T.R. 182 (Blue Run Township Road) while crews from the Portsmouth Joint Venture install a culvert across Morris Lane as part of the Southern Ohio Veterans Memorial Highway construction project.
The project is also being coordinated with the local water and telecommunication service providers, who will be on site to ensure utility relocation during the culvert installation.
The closure will go into effect at 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, and continue until 7 a.m. Thursday, June 30. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured using Blue Run and Flatwood-Fallen Timber roads.
