Project Scheduled For Jackson-776
Chillicothe (Friday, August 8, 2014) – State
Route 776 in Jackson County will be closed one day next week for a culvert
On Tuesday, August 12, crews
from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Jackson County Highway
Maintenance Facility will close S.R. 776 between Township Road 7 (Marhoover
Road) and Township Road 10 (Franklin Road), just south of S.R. 32, to replace
a deteriorated pipe at the 7.13-mile marker.
The closure is scheduled
to go into effect at 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue until 4 p.m. While the route
is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 335 in Scioto and Pike
counties and S.R. 32.
Although the project will
not be completed until the following day, the route will be open to motorists,
and traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
