Projects On Tap In Brown County
(Friday, August 3, 2018) – Crews from the Ohio Department
of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake
a pair of culvert replacement projects in the coming weeks, requiring
single-day closures on U.S. Route 50 and state Route 763.
Weather permitting, U.S. 50 will be closed on Tuesday, August 14, just east of S.R. 131 at
Vera Cruz, for maintenance forces to replace a deteriorated pipe.
The project site
is situated between C.R. 7 (Vera Cruz Road) and T.R. 80535 (Victory Lane),
and the closure will be in effect from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. While

In advance of this project, crews will close S.R. 763 one day next week to replace a culvert that is located between C.R.
31 (Martin Hill Road) and T.R. 246 (E. Fork Road).
S.R. 763 will be closed from approximately 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, and while it is closed, motorists will be
detoured via S.R. 41, S.R. 136 and S.R. 125.
