Culvert Replacement At S.R. 138 and Stoney Point Road Wraps Up
Chillicothe (Thursday, December 8, 2016) – A culvert replacement project at state Route 138 and County Road 49 (Stoney Point Road) in Highland County has been completed, and both routes are now open with no restrictions.
Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility have been working this week to replace a deteriorated pipe at the routes’ junction approximately three miles east of Hillsboro.
Although the project was scheduled to be completed by the close of the business day Friday, December 9, the crews were able to work ahead of the projected five-day timeline and complete the project a day in advance.
