Culvert Replacement On Tap In Ross County
Chillicothe (Tuesday, August 18, 2015) – Construction for a culvert replacement project on state Route 772 in Ross County will get under way in the coming weeks, when contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation mobilize crews at the end of the month.
On Monday, August 31, crews from DGM, Inc. will restrict traffic on S.R. 772 at the 11.85-mile marker to replace a deficient culvert and repair the approaches. The project site is located between Township Road 169B (Rinehart Road) and County Road 175 (Liberty Hill Road), approximately 3.5 miles south of Chillicothe.
Throughout construction, S.R. 772 will be reduced to one, 10-foot lane, and traffic will be maintained with the use of temporary signals.
DGM, Inc. of Beaver, Ohio was awarded a contract in the amount of approximately $202,689 to replace the culvert, and all work is anticipated to be completed in mid to late fall.
