Culvert Replacement Project Scheduled Next Week
Adams County Crews Replacing Three Pipes
Chillicothe (Tuesday, April 14, 2015) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility are scheduled to undertake a series of culvert replacements next week on state Route 125.
On Monday, April 20, and continuing through Friday, April 24, crews will be replacing three culverts between the Brown County line and S.R. 136, requiring a closure of the route during daytime, business hours. Located at the 1.1, 3.92 and the 4.17-mile markers, the project sites are situated respectively between Township Road 80106 (Kent Lane) and County Road 13 (Aid Run Road); between C.R. 21 (Old Cincinnati Road) and C.R. 2 (Eckmansville Road); and between Eckmansville Road and T.R. 8006 (Alex Lane), just west of S.R. 136.
Throughout the week, S.R. 125 will be closed from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the route open to evening and overnight travel. During periods of closure, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 136, S.R. 32 at Winchester and U.S. 62 at Macon and Russellville.
