Culvert Replacement Project Set To Begin on Ross-35
Chillicothe (Friday, August 2, 2013) – Preliminary operations are under way for a culvert replacement project on U.S. Route 35 in Ross County.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be replacing a pair of culverts located at the route’s 5.80 and 13.53-mile markers, respectively. The project site for both culverts is situated between the County Road 550 and S.R. 138 exits, west of Chillicothe, and throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one, 12-foot lane in each direction.
DGM Incorporated, of Beaver, Ohio, was awarded a contract for approximately $888,533 to replace the structures, and the project is anticipated to be completed by late fall.
