Culvert Replacement Scheduled At Ross-772, Hartwood Road
Chillicothe (Wednesday, July 24, 2013) – A culvert replacement has been scheduled at the intersection of state Route 772 and Township Road 162 (Hartwood Road) in Ross County, requiring a single-day closure of Hartwood Road.
On Wednesday, July 31, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will close Hartwood Road at its junction with S.R. 772 in order to replace a deteriorated culvert at the routes’ intersection.
Restrictions are scheduled to be in effect from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and although S.R. 772 traffic will be maintained with flaggers, Hartwood Road will be closed. Motorists traveling to and from Hartwood will be detoured via C.R. 167 (Blain Highway) and Township Road 175 (Arrowood Road).
Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution in the work zone.
