Culvert Replacement Scheduled At S.R. 772-Gardner Road S.R. 772 restricted, Gardner Road to be closed next month
Chillicothe (Monday, May 15, 2017) – Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance crews will undertake a culvert replacement at the junction of Township Road 332 (Gardner Road) and state Route 772 in Pike County next month, requiring a weeklong closure of the township road.
On Monday, June 12, crews will close Gardner Road at its junction with S.R. 772 to replace a deteriorated pipe that is situated under the township road at the routes’ junction. The project site is situated immediately east of S.R. 772, between the state highway and T.R. 330 (Williams Road).
Gardner Road will be closed throughout the week, and while it is closed, motorists will be detoured locally via Williams Road and S.R. 772.
S.R. 772 will remain open most of the week; however, the route will be closed Wednesday, June 14, while crews set the new culvert in place. During its closure, traffic will be detoured via S.R. 73 and S.R. 32 in Adams County. At all other times, traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed when crews are at work.
