Replacement Scheduled At S.R. 772-Gardner Road
S.R. 772 to be
restricted; Gardner Road to be closed next week
Chillicothe (Monday, June 5, 2017) – Crews from the Ohio Department
of Transportation’s Pike County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert
replacement project next week at the junction of state Route 772 and Township
Road 332 (Gardner Road).
Monday, June 12, and continuing through the end of the week, Gardner Road will
be closed while crews install a culvert which is situated under the township
road at the route’s junction with S.R. 772, approximately 1.5 miles south of
the S.R.772-S.R. 32 intersection.
The closure will
go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, June
16, or until all work is completed, and while Gardner Road is closed, motorists
will be detoured via T.R. 330 (Williams Road).
Although S.R. 772
will remain open and traffic maintained by flaggers throughout most of the
week, the route will be closed on Wednesday, June 14, for equipment and
materials delivery. This closure will be for a limited duration between
approximately 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and while it is closed, motorists will be
detoured via S.R. 73 and S.R. 32 in Adams County.
