Ross County ODOT Schedules Culvert Replacement
Ross-327 To Be Closed One Day Next Week
Chillicothe (Thursday, January 26, 2012) – Due to a deteriorated culvert, state Route 327 in Ross County will be closed one day next week for a culvert replacement project.
Following a routine inspection of state Route 327 this week, officials from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility found a damaged culvert near the route’s 5.0-mile marker, south of Adelphi and adjacent to the Hocking County line.
As such, maintenance crews will close the route just north of near Township Road 268B (Bull Creek Road) on Wednesday, February 1, in order to replace the pipe. The closure is scheduled to go into effect at approximately 9 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m. or until all work is completed.
While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 180, S.R. 159, U.S. 23, U.S. 35 and U.S. 50.
