S.R. 772 Closing For Culvert Replacement Project
Chillicothe (Monday, June 11, 2012) – State Route 772 will be closed week next week as Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance forces undertake a culvert replacement project in Pike County.
On Monday, June 18, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Pike County facility will close S.R. 772 at the 23.58-mile marker to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located just north of County Road 3 (Morgans Fork Road) and south of the Ross County line.
The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. June 18 and continue throughout the week, with the route being reopened by 4 p.m. Friday, June 22. Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
While S.R. 772 is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 220, U.S. 23 and C.R. 167 (Blain Highway).
