Chillicothe (Monday, June 20, 2016) – Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin a preservation project in Ross County, with a culvert replacement on state Route 207.
Crews from the Parker Corporation will be replacing a culvert located at the 4.73-mile marker, between Township Road 124 (Rinkliff Road) and County Road 111 (Stone Road), approximately 1.5 miles north of S.R. 104. Situated over a tributary to Dry Run, the 30-inch corrugated metal culvert will be replaced with a 42-inch conduit and full height wing walls.
Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, June 27, and traffic will be maintained in one lane, 12-foot lane with the use of temporary signals.
The Parker Corporation of Tupper Plains, Ohio, was awarded a contract for approximately $318,735 to replace the culvert, and all work is scheduled to be completed in mid-summer.
