Culvert Replacement Under Way At U.S. 62-Nace Road Intersection
U.S. 62 Restricted, Nace Road to be closed this week
Chillicothe (Monday, March 27, 2017) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement on U.S. Route 62 this week, requiring the closure of Township Road 381 (Nace Road).
Crews will close Nace Road today, March 27, to replace a deteriorated pipe that is situated under the road at its junction with U.S. 62, approximately one mile north of S.R. 321.
Nace Road will be closed through Wednesday, March 29, and while it is closed, motorists will be detoured via T.R. 155 (Seamer Road) and T.R. 151 (Kuhn Road). U.S. 62 will remain open; however, traffic may be reduced to one lane and maintained by flaggers intermittently when crews are at work.
