Culvert Projects Slated For Adams-770
Chillicothe - In preparation for an upcoming resurfacing project, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility will be replacing a series of culverts on state Route 770 throughout the month of March.
According to Transportation Administrator Bob Osman, there are 20 deteriorated culverts situated between the route’s junction with state Route 73 near Louden and state Route 247 at Seaman which need to be replaced.
Crews will be working from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays as weather permits, with the first project scheduled to get under way Monday, March 2. Throughout each replacement project, the route will be open to one lane of traffic, with traffic being maintained by flaggers.
Although crews plan to keep the route open, motorists are advised of intermittent periods of delay while they are at work.
